Description
Driving along a dirt road, on my way home and I came across two snakes on the road. I pulled over, took my macro out (thankfully I had packed it with me!) and started taking photos of this beauty. It was tasting the air as I settled on the ground to get level with it. I kept trying to capture the tongue out on camera, and it was a success. I loved how it looked like it had a moustache with how it curled its tongue and stretched the fork of it out. I just love snakes so much! After I was done photographing it, I guided it off the road, in hopes it wouldn't get run over by someone, it was a quiet road, but hunting season is here, so it might be a bit busier.
